たまむすび is an app that allows users to embark on a journey of mythology, legends, and puzzles in various locations. It transforms regular trips and weekend outings into exciting adventures filled with enigmatic spots inspired by local myths and legends. With over 320 mythological and legendary content pieces and more than 760 episodes, users will have plenty to explore. The app also offers over 100 quests (puzzles) in different areas, with more content being added as the areas expand.
In たまむすび, users can tap on illustrations (people and places) depicted in the "scrolls" of each location's mythology and legends to learn about their summaries and episodes. Some of the quests are available for free, while others can be accessed by purchasing digital tickets from the "tickets" section, offering exclusive puzzles. Users can also register illustrations (places) from the scrolls as "explorations" to automatically generate routes to their desired destinations.
The app covers various areas, including Kyoto, Nara, Iga, Kobe, Ono, Miki, Mita, Kasai in Kansai; Minamiuonuma, Tokamachi, Kashiwazaki, Joetsu in Hokuriku; Kamakura, Fujisawa in Kanto; and Inuyama in Chubu.
